Nichole Chauvin, AIA NCARB has nearly 20 years of experience in architecture, master planning and design for a variety of projects ranging from a large complex museum, universities to residential.

After obtaining her Master in Architecture from Syracuse, Nichole moved to New York City and practiced with the notable firms of Skidmore Owings and Merrill and later with Voorsanger Architects. During that time, she acquired a significant portfolio of domestic work which includes the Corporate Headquarters for Goldman Sachs and the expansion to the Asia Society Museum with Voorsanger Architects. 

Returning to her native Louisiana in 1999, Nichole brought her skill for management and passion for architecture to join the team of Lee Ledbetter Architects.  Acting as Project Architect, Nichole led the team in the development of the full construction documents for the nationally recognized New Orleans Museum Sydney and Walda Bestoff Sculpture Garden.

In 2007, Nichole joined the firm of Mathes Brierre Architects and soon afterwards was made a Principal.  She worked as part of the project team that completed Phase IV of the National World War II Museum Expansion which includes the Solomon Victory 4D theater and The American Sector Restaurant.  Additionally, Nichole worked closely with exhibit designer and museum staff in the Design Development phases of the Campaign of Courage Pavilion and the overall National World War II Museum Master Plan. 

Nichole’s experience in higher education work includes the renovation of a number of  Loyola University’s buildings including Thomas Hall, Cabra Hall, Buddig Hall, and the University’s Stock Trading Room.  In addition, she was the lead planner for Loyola University Broadway Campus Master Plan. 

Nichole is a passionate designer and experienced project manager with a strong commitment to design, which is translated into an ability to deliver unique and responsive design solutions for challenging project types. 

Nichole earned a Master of Architecture II degree from Syracuse University  where she was awarded the Syracuse University Abroad Scholarship for the required terms in Florence, Italy.  She earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Louisiana State University. 

She has been a licensed architect since 2000.
